Born and raised in California, Justin Ownbey understands firsthand the importance of finding a place to call home. Alongside his wife and children—who were also born and raised in California—Justin's family journey eventually led them to Colorado and, most recently, to North Carolina. Having personally navigated multiple relocations and home financing experiences, he brings a unique perspective and genuine understanding to the mortgage process.

Justin's professional career is built on a foundation of service, leadership, and trust. Prior to entering the mortgage industry, he served nearly 20 years in law enforcement, working in patrol operations, gang and crime suppression, and criminal investigations. Throughout his career, he developed a reputation for integrity, problem-solving, attention to detail, and helping people through some of life's most challenging situations.

Today, as a Senior Loan Officer with Epic Mortgage, Justin applies those same principles to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Whether assisting first-time homebuyers, seasoned homeowners, or real estate investors, he is committed to providing honest guidance, clear communication, and personalized lending solutions tailored to each client's unique needs.

Justin believes that a mortgage is more than a loan—it's a critical step toward building financial stability, creating lasting memories, and achieving long-term goals.
